As many students praepare to head back to class, parents are concerned about their child's safety online. Today on Chat With Women, the hosts Pam & Rochelle explored this topic with me in depth. It's a big issue for parents and educators, and the risks are very real.
Among the topics covered: cyber-bullying, online safety, how to monitor your child's activity, location-based awareness and the risk of "apps" on a smartphone.
I also shared two tip sheets for parents that want more information:
- Internet, Mobile Phones, and Texting Safety Tips for Kids
