Celebrate Seattle Center’s 50 years with this EXTRAVAGANZA of sampling & feasting, entertainment and live music. Taste cultural foods ranging from bayou alligator, Asian foods, Greek, European, cross-cultural, All-American and desserts of every kind. For those with lighter taste needs, enjoy the Right Bite, healthy samples of cross-cultural foods. Take the opportunity to taste delicious foods while benefitting the community. Various multicourse meals from the area’s best restaurants at “The Alley” benefit the Food Lifeline, the local hunger relief organization serving Western Washington. Last year the organization delivered more than 24 million meals to the hungry through food banks, meal programs and shelters. Chefs will entertain you with cooking demonstrations on stage. Comedy, jazz, rock, tribute, blues and American live music will entertain you on several stages. See the unusual DockDogs Dock Jumping competitions with three days of exciting competition of handler and dog teams who compete for cash, ribbons and prizes. Stroll through many hand crafted arts and crafts as well as vendor products.
