Celebrate the return of the North Pacific fishing fleet to the terminal and benefit a good cause at this family friendly event. Listen to live musical performances, fishing information & education, see demonstrations, taste delicious seafood and take a moment to remember the fishermen of the past. Compete in a Lutfisk Eating Contest, see the United States Coast Guard At-Sea Rescue demonstration and cheer on your favorite seafood cook in the Salmon Fillet Contest. See a most fun Survival Suit Race and refresh yourself with delicious seafood at the Salmon BBQ. Children make fish prints, Oyster Art, and a mermaid on a scallop shell. They enjoy Spin Art on Frisbees, Balloon Sculptors, a Trout Pond catch, an air filled Jumpy Ship, Face Painting and The Reptile Man on the Main Stage. Proceeds benefit the Seattle Fishermen’s Memorial Foundation that assists families of fishermen lost at sea. www.fishermensfallfestival.org
