Celebrate local watercraft and the Maritime heritage of Puget Sound at this Festival. On May 8^th at the Edgewater Dining Room, 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM , Waterfront restaurants compete for a Celebrity Judging Chowder Cook-Off. Also on May 8^th stroll through the Maritime Career Day at the Maritime Event Center at Pier 66. On May 9^th enjoy Stories and Poetry from the National Fisherman’s Stories of the Sea/Fisher Poetry Slam at the Highliner Pub & Grill at Fisherman’s Terminal. Saturday May 12^th is Family Fun Day at Pier 66 and Bell Harbor Marina where you and your family can enjoy many activities and a Tug Boat Race Championship. Tour a Water Vessel and Kid’s can build boats and participate in the Kids Activity Center. From 11:00 AM -5:00 PM discover the best Chowder in town at the Waterfront Chowder Cook-Off. Go on a Free Harbor Tour and participate in a Youth & Family Maritime Education Fair.
