Enter into a delightfully unconventional holiday season afternoon with holiday stories, musical cheer and poems. Some of the Northwest’s favorite professional actors: Frank Corrado, Megan Cole, historian/raconteur Paul Dorpat and Jean Sherrard who also returns to direct. Holiday readings include Jane Gardam’s hilarious Poem “The Zoo at Christmas” and “The Shoemaker and the Devil” by Chekhov about an impoverished shoemaker who sells his soul and after a harrowing night realizes his life isn’t so bad after all. Readings also include, “Christmas by Injunction”, O. Henry’s very funny tale and “Reginald’s Christmas Revel”, by Saki. Listen to Homegrown music from Pineola with Leslie Braly, Josh Woods and John Owen as they warm up the afternoon. http://townhallseattle.org or call 206.652.4255.
