Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with the animals at the Zoo. See all kinds of animals enjoy green treats and toys. See the Outer Reef Shark eat green treats and Sea Otters playing with green toys. Polar bears will enjoy St. Paddy themed tasty treats, Monkey’s eat clover-shaped melons and frosty green goodies, Elephants munch on green jello, Meerkats get carved-out silly squash and Decorator Crabs decorate their bodies in green things. These St. Patrick’s Day animal festivities are a part of an enrichment program that encourages animals to use their natural abilities and behaviors to interact with their environment while giving joy to the people who see them.
