Lavish in the beauty of spring with colorful beautiful Tulips. Travel to different Tulip farms and delight your eyes in acres and acres of colorful tulips. Take pictures of yourself in front of the tulips. “Tip Toe Through The Tulips.” Join in the Tulip Festival festivities all month long. Kick off the Tulip Festival with the Gala Celebration on March 28^th, 5:30PM to 9PM. On April 6 – April 28^th refresh yourself with a delicious Alder grilled salmon dinner at the Hillcrest Lodge. Take a Historic Home Tour on April 6^th from 10AM – 5PM. Visit the Veteran’s Memorial Dedication on April 12^th at Tulip Town. All Veterans and Active Duty Military get in Free. Sample wine at the Anacortes Spring Wine Festival on April 13^th at the Port of Anacortes Transportation Shed Event Center from Noon – 4:30PM. See the parade all about Tulips on April 13^th or if you’re feeling adventurous join the parade. Wacky impromptu entries are welcome. See all kinds of big trucks at the PACCAR Technical Center Open House on April 13^th, 11AM – 3PM.
