Enter into the mysteries of an ancient Egyptian King’s tomb. Gold, jewels, furniture and ceremonial items are left for the afterlife of the king that is on display at the Pacific Science Center. Come face-to-face with over 100 objects from King Tut’s tomb and from other ancient sites of some of the most important ancient Egyptian rulers. Some of these artifacts have never toured the United States before. See more than twice the number of artifacts from the original Tut exhibit in the 70’s. See a 10-foot statue of the pharaoh found at the funerary temple of two of Tut’s high officials. Tutankhamun was discovered in 1922 by British Explorer Howard Carter. This is the last time many of these treasures will be seen in the United States. www.pacificsciencecenter.org or 206.443.2001.
