Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure
The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure Series is the world’s largest, most successful fundraising and education event for breast cancer. The race series includes more than 140 events on four continents, with over one million participants coming together every year to take part in the fight against breast cancer.
On Race day at Seattle Center the cancer support community comes together, not only to have fun, but to raise funds to find cures for the most aggressive breast cancers and improve outcomes for those who face barriers to care.
Hundreds of pink-clad breast cancer survivors take part in the Survivor Parade, an inspiring Race tradition. Following the parade are the 5K run and walk events, including a kids’ run and the Paws for the Cure dog walk.
