B.J. Thomas Re-Records Classic Hits with Various Guest Stars for New Album

PRNewsFoto/Wrinkled RecordsB.J. Thomas has teamed up with an eclectic selection of artists to deliver acoustic versions of some of his best-known songs for his latest studio effort, The Living Room Sessions, which is due out sometime in the spring.  The 12-track album features stripped-down renditions of the singer's many hits, including "Raindrops Keep Fallin' on My Head," "(Hey Won't You Play) Another Done Somebody Wrong Song" and "Hooked on a Feeling."

Among the stars who collaborate with Thomas on the collection are Lyle Lovett, Richard Marx, Vince Gill and The Fray frontman Isaac Slade.  The album was recorded at Nasville's Sound Stage Studio with help from some of Music City's most respected session players.

"The biggest blessing for me is that I never get tired of the songs I have had the privilege to share with the world," Thomas says in a statement.  "I still feel an emotional connection to them, and as they bring back great memories for me, they affect me the same way they might touch a longtime fan of my music…I'm excited to have the opportunity with The Living Room Sessions to present some of my favorite songs in a different setting that feels just like home."
