Photo by Sarah A. FriedmanAaron Neville has made it to the top ten of the Billboard album chart for the first time in his career with his new CD, My True Story. The CD debuted at number seven on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Album chart, selling 9,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

My True Story, produced by Keith Richards of The Rolling Stones and Blue Note Records president Don Was, consists of covers of twelve doo-wop songs Neville grew up singing in New Orleans, including "***** Woman," Tears on My Pillow," and "Under the Boardwalk."
