Weinberg will be featured in cameos roles in two programs in the coming week, according to the respected Bruce Springsteen fan site Backstreets.com.
The 61-year-old musician will appear on tonight's episode of CBS' Hawaii Five-0, which airs at 10 p.m. ET/9 p.m. CT. The show, title "Hookman," will be a recreation of an Emmy Award-winning episode of the original Hawaii Five-O series that first aired back in September 1973. Weinberg will portray a weapons expert and gun-store owner named Norm on the program, which focuses on a maimed man who is intent on killing the police officers he blames for his injuries.
Then, on Sunday, Weinberg's voice and animated likeness will be featured on Fox's The Simpsons. The episode will be a Valentine's Day-themed episode titled "Love Is a Many Splintered Thing." According to Backstreets.com, this will mark the first time that an E Street Band member has been featured as himself on The Simpsons. The late Clarence Clemons narrated the 1999 Christmas episode "Grift of the Magi," but his likeness didn't appear on the show. The Simpsons airs Sunday at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT.
