ZZ Top Frontman Billy Gibbons' 1960s Band The Moving Sidewalks Schedule Second Reunion Show

Facebook.com/TheMovingSidewalksBilly Gibbons' pre-ZZ Top band The Moving Sidewalks have added a second performance to their 2013 reunion plans.  The group will headline the final night of the sixth annual Austin Psych Fest, taking place April 26-28 at the Carson Creek Ranch in Austin, Texas.

The three-day festival's lineup also includes Roky Erickson of the legendary Texas psychedelic band 13th Floor Elevators, Brazil's Os Mutantes, The Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and dozens of other acts.

As previously reported, The Moving Sidewalks' original lineup  -- Gibbons, drummer Dan Mitchell, bassist Don Summers and keyboardist Tom Moore -- will play together for the first time in 44 years on March 30 at New York City's B.B. King Blues Club & Grill.  The show will be part of the ongoing Cavestomp garage-rock concert series.

Founded in Houston in 1967, The Moving Sidewalks went on to perform on concert bills with such famous artists as Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Mitch Ryder & The Detroit Wheels, The Jeff Beck Group with Rod Stewart, Steppenwolf and Stevie Wonder.  Following the release of its one and only album, 1968's Flash, the group disbanded in 1969 after Summers and Moore were drafted.
