Jason LaVeris/FilmMagic, IncSoul great Sam Moore of Sam & Dave fame has joined the list of artists who will perform at country legend George Jones' farewell concert that's scheduled for November 22 at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena. Country superstar Garth Brooks, Kid Rock and The Oak Ridge Boys also have been added to the event's lineup.
Other previously announced celebrities on the historic show's bill include Kenny Rogers, Charlie Daniels, Randy Travis, Lorrie Morgan, Montgomery Gentry, Dierks Bentley and Jamey Johnson.
"Being joined by so many incredible singers while doing what I love will be truly heartwarming," says Jones. "It's shaping up to be more than I expected or could have ever imagined."
Jones is saying goodbye to fans this year on a farewell trek dubbed The Grand Tour.
