Byrds-Era David Crosby Memorabilia Being Auctioned Off

Facebook.com/OfficialDavidCrosbyA handful of interesting items belonging to David Crosby are currently up for bid via the Nate D. Sanders auction house in Los Angeles.  Among the collectibles on the block are a Gibson ES-335 electric guitar that the singer/songwriter played during the 1960s while he was a member of The Byrds and a cape that he frequently wore during his tenure with the influential folk-rock group.

Also being auctioned are two paintings by famed psychedelic-era artist Peter ***.  One piece, which depicts a colorful silhouette of a Grammy trophy, was presented to Crosby in 1991, when he was honored as the MusiCares Person of the Year.  The other painting is a mixed-media work that features a photograph of Crosby decorated with a rainbow of oil paints.

Bidding on the all of the items closes at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday.  Each piece of memorabilia will come with a letter of authenticity from Crosby.  Visit NateDSanders.com to find out more details about the sale.
