Bloomsbury PressA new book that gathers together a variety of conversations with Bruce Springsteen from throughout the legendary rocker's 40-plus-year career hits stores today. Talk About a Dream: The Essential Interviews of Bruce Springsteen features more than 30 conversations the Boss had with journalists, authors and fellow musicians dating from 1973 to the present.
The 464-page tome was compiled by Christopher Phillips and Louis P. The book features Bruce musing on a wide variety of topics, from his lyrics and the music that inspired him to his insights into popular culture and the human condition.
In addition to the interviews, Talk About a Dream boasts an eight-page section of memorable photos of Springsteen.
"I found it remarkable how [Talk About a Dream] tells the story of a thoughtful and consistently driven artist," says E Street Band bassist Gary Tallent in a statement. "A must-read for all serious Bruceaholics."
Adds E Street guitarist Nils Lofgren, "No artist has ever been as candid, informative, and entertaining as Bruce is in this wonderful book. [It's] as revealing as you could possibly hope."
Talk About a Dream: The Essential Interviews of Bruce Springsteen is available as a paperback book and an eBook that list at $20 and $13.99, respectively.
