Photo: Danny ClinchBruce Springsteen has entered the Twitterverse. The Boss has had an official Twitter account for some time now, but he'd never actually sent out a tweet himself…until early Tuesday afternoon.
So, what was the subject of the New Jersey rocker's debut Twitter message? It was directed to fans who'll be coming out to see him and the E Street Band's upcoming concerts in South America.
"Bruce here...looking forward to seeing friends in Chile, Argentina & Brazil on tour next month," he wrote. "Any requests?"
Some of his fans responded with various songs suggestions -- including "Adam Raised a Cain," "I'm on Fire" and "Drive All Night" -- while others were a bit more creative with their requests.
One fan requested that Springsteen's second tweet be sent to him. Another requested, "A plane ticket to Chile, Argentina or Brazil"; yet another requested, "Another European tour."
Springsteen's brief South American tour runs from a September 12 show in Santiago, Chile, through a September 21 appearance at the Rock in Rio Festival in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
