Ernesto Ruscio/Getty ImagesFor months, Madonna has been teasing fans about her "secret project," without actually spelling out what it is. Now, she's unveiled the project to some lucky folks...in Rome, Italy.
On Wednesday night, Madonna was in the Eternal City touring the soon-to-open site of the latest branch of her Hard Candy Fitness club chain. The 13,000-square-foot facility is the second Rome location for Hard Candy Fitness, and will open in October. While she was there, she wrote the club's slogan -- "harder is better" -- on the wall and signed it, but she also showed a select group of club members, friends and fans the "secret project."
So what is it? It's described as a "17-minute film about tolerance, freedom and love," created by Madonna and photographer Steven Klein. The trailers Madonna has released for the film have been somewhat dark and creepy. No word on when it'll get its official release.
Madonna also made headlines when she arrived at the fitness club because she was seen wearing a "grill" -- jewelry worn over the teeth, often made of gold and encrusted with diamonds. It's not the first time Madonna's been spotted wearing a grill -- she's Instagrammed several photos of herself wearing them -- so why is this news? Because grills are usually worn by rappers or young stars, not 55-year-old music legends. But hey...she's Madonna.
