Blue Cadillac RecordsDionne Warwick recently teamed up with country singer Billy Ray Cyrus for a new duet, "Hope Is Just Ahead," and now the two veteran stars are set to perform the tune Wednesday live on the CBS show The Talk, which airs at 2 p.m. ET/11 a.m. PT. The song, which was written by Cyrus, was recorded at actor/singer Jamie Foxx's studio in Los Angeles.
Part of the proceeds raised by "Hope Is Just Ahead" will be donated to the Do the Write Thing -- National Campaign to Stop Violence, an organization that seeks to prevent shootings from occurring in schools. Warwick and Cyrus recently filmed a promotional video for the single, which also includes a clip of a speech by President Obama addressing some of these tragic events, as well as news footage documenting some of the incidents.
In related news, Cyrus recently released an updated, hip-hop-flavored version of his 1992 smash "Achy Breaky Heart," called "Achy Breaky 2." The new tune features rapper Buck 22, who's Warwick's son.
