Stephen Stills Shuts the Door on New Crosby, Stills and Nash Music

Jensen CommunicationsCrosby, Stills and Nash are releasing a new live CD/DVD, but Stephen Stills says fans should not expect to hear any new music from the trio.  He tells MusicRadar.com, "Well, there's the DVD, right, a live set.  The thing's done, it's ready to go.  But an album?  We won't make another album, we won't finish one."

CSN had previously planned to record a covers album and had actually begun to work it with producer Rick Rubin, but decided against the project earlier this year.  "Some of the choices Rick made were pretty off the wall, but we tried them," Stills says. "We sang 'Uncle John's Band' for an entire tour…and never really did understand what it was about!"

The CSN 2012 live CD/DVD was shot on their current tour and will be released July 17.

Here are the remaining Crosby, Stills and Nash tour dates.
