Eagle Rock Entertainment A BBC documentary about famed Beatles producer George Martin is coming to the U.S. on DVD and Blu-ray disk this fall.

The feature-length documentary, Produced by George Martin,  includes not only extensive interviews with Martin, but also conversations with several of the stars Martin has recorded including Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and Jeff Beck.  The new release contains more than 50 minutes of interviews not included when the documentary was original broadcast in the U.K. in 2011.  The video is set for release on September 11.

Martin began producing comedy records with Peter Sellers and Peter Ustinov in the 1950s before signing The Beatles in 1962.  He worked with the group composing parts, arranging and producing all their studio albums, winning a Grammy in 1967 for Album of the Year for producing Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.  Martin was inducted into The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1999.
