Reprise/WEAA 60th anniversary edition Fender Telecaster signed by Tom Petty is among a number of autographed guitars up for bid as part of a benefit auction to raise money for the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund's Musicians Cancer Fund.  Other items on the block include a Sting model Fender Precision bass signed by the ex-Police frontman and a Gretsch Country Gentleman autographed by Lou Reed.  The auction is being hosted by Charitybuzz.com, and bidding on the items will be open until July 26.

Another Sweet Relief auction featuring guitars signed by Neil Young, Stephen Stills, The Police's Andy Summers, Bon Jovi's Richie Sambora and blues great Buddy Guy is being planned for later in the summer.

The Sweet Relief Musicians Fund lends financial assistance to uninsured artists in need of medical care.
