Legacy RecordingsA DVD featuring highlights from the 2011 Johnny Cash Music Festival concert will be released on July 31.  The disc will include performances by Kris Kristofferson, George Jones, Johnny's daughter Rosanne Cash and more.  A one-hour special produced from the DVD will air on GAC on July 28.  PBS also will show that special throughout the summer.  Check local listings for air dates.

The 2012 Johnny Cash Music Festival is set for October 5 in Jonesboro, Arkansas.  The lineup includes Willie Nelson and Rosanne Cash.  The annual event raises money for Arkansas State University's Johnny Cash Boyhood Home Project, which helps fund the preservation of the Dyess Colony, where the late country legend spent his early years.
