Katherine Jackson Responds to Letter Aimed at Executors of Michael Jackson's Estate

PRNewsFotoAn attorney for Michael Jackson's mother, Katherine, says the Jackson family's matriarch is of sound mind and "absolutely capable" of caring for the children of her late son.  The statement comes after several of Michael's siblings reportedly  wrote in a letter that the executors of the late singer’s estate should resign, in part because they have **** to and manipulated Katherine.

Nowhere in the letter do Jermaine, Randy, ****, Rebbie and Janet Jackson call into question whether their mother is capable of caring for Paris, Prince and Blanket.  But the siblings do say in their letter that the 82-year-old Katherine is "not equipped to handle the stress load" put upon her by executors John Branca and John McClain, and that her health has been affected as a result.  They also reveal that Katherine recently suffered a mini-stroke.

In addition, the Jackson siblings allege that Michael's signature on his will is **********, and that Katherine "acknowledges the Will was forged."  They add that Katherine "wants to do the right thing... yet she fears the POWERS THAT BE."

Responding to implications that, perhaps, Katherine is less competent because of her age, her lawyer writes that she "is extremely lucid and not having any difficulties of any consequence.  It's unfortunate that anyone would paint Mrs. Jackson as anything but completely lucid and doing a great job with the children."
