Journey to Play Benefit Concert for Baltimore Cancer Charity in October

Photo: Alex SolcaJourney has scheduled a special benefit concert in Baltimore this fall to help raise funds for the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center.  The performance will take place October 14 at the Lyric Opera House and will be part of the "One Night One Show One Cause" concert series sponsored by Paul Reed Smith Guitars.

A special pre-show party also will be held that will include a guitar auction offering instruments signed by Carlos Santana, Slash and other stars.  The event also will feature a fashion show hosted by Journey guitarist Neal Schon's girlfriend, reality-TV starlet Michaele Salahi.

The annual "One Night One Show One Cause" series has raised more than $2 million for the Kimmel Cancer Center's Living with Cancer Resource Program, which provides free care and education to people suffering from cancer and their families.
