Alice Cooper Halloween Mazes Opening Soon at Universal Studios in L.A. and Florida

Photo: Ross HalfinLast year, a scary maze based on Alice Cooper's classic album Welcome to My Nightmare debuted at Universal Studios Hollywood in Los Angeles as part of the annual Halloween Horror Nights festivities, and now the park will host a new attraction inspired the shock rocker.  "Alice Cooper Goes to **** 3D," based on the similarly named 1976 concept album, will take guests on a terrifying journey into the netherworld as envisioned by the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer.  The intensity of the spooky action will be heightened with the help of 3D glasses.

The "Alice Cooper Goes to **** 3D" maze is one of several rides to be featured at Universal Studios Hollywood in conjunction with the 2012 Halloween Horror Nights.  It will premiere on an as-yet-unannounced fall date and is expected to run until October 31.

Meanwhile, the "Alice Cooper: Welcome to My Nightmare" maze will soon make its debut at Universal Studios Hollywood's sister location, Universal Orlando Resort, in Orlando, Florida.  The ride, which recreates the twisted trip through Cooper's mind as depicted in his 1975 album, will open on September 21 and run through October 31.
