SchonMusic.comNew details have emerged about Journey guitarist Neal Schon's upcoming solo album.  The instrumental collection, titled The Calling, features 12 songs and will be released on October 23, according to Amazon.com and iTunes.  Schon is streaming 30-second samples of all of the album's tracks at his official website, SchonMusic.com.

As previously reported, The Calling features contributions from ex-Journey drummer Steve Smith and veteran jazz-fusion keyboardist Jan Hammer, who has collaborated with Schon on several albums over the years.
