Ex-Eagles Guitarist Don Felder Announces Concerts in Support of New Solo Album

Photo: Myriam SantosDon Felder will release a new solo album titled Return to Forever on October 9, and the former Eagles guitarist has begun scheduling tour dates in support of the recording.  Felder will be joined by a five-piece group on the U.S. trek, which currently features eight confirmed shows.  The outing runs from a September 19 concert in Puyallup, Washington, until a November 18 show in Annapolis, Maryland, but more performances will be added soon.

Return to Forever is Felder's second solo album, following 1983's Airborne.  It's also the first full-length release in which the guitarist has participated since his dismissal from the Eagles in 2001.  Among the many stars who contributed their talents to the record are David Crosby, Graham Nash, Styx's Tommy Shaw, American Idol judge/ex-Journey bassist Randy Jackson and Toto's Steve Lukather, David Paich and Steve Porcaro.
