Image credit: Barry SigmanMarshall Tucker Band guitarist Stuart Swanlund has passed away. A posting on the band's official website says the 54-year-old musician **** of natural causes in his sleep at his Chicago home on Saturday.

Swanlund had been with the band since 1985. The Marshall Tucker Band's biggest hit, "Heard It In a Love Song," was released about a decade prior to Swanlund joining the group.

A funeral for Swanlund will be held Saturday in Boiling Springs, South Carolina.
