Photo: Jo LopezIt looks like rock fans will soon get the chance to relive last month's historic London festival performance by Bruce Springsteen and special guest Paul McCartney that was cut short when organizers pulled the plug on the power to the stage because the event had run past the scheduled curfew.
The Palladia cable network will air a special featuring highlights from the 2012 Hard Rock Calling Festival on August 25 at 9 p.m. ET. The fest, which took place in London's Hyde Park on July 13, 14 and 15, also included sets by Paul Simon, John Fogerty, Iggy & the Stooges and Soundgarden.
Springsteen and his E Street Band closed out the second day of the concert event. In addition to McCartney's surprise appearance during the show's finale, The Boss also was joined by Fogerty and Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello, both of whom had played their own sets earlier in the day.
