NeilDiamond.comToday is the day Neil Diamond finally will be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.  The ceremony is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. PT and will take place at 1750 N. Vine Street in front of the famous Capitol Records Building. 

Fans who can't make it to Los Angeles to celebrate with the legendary pop artist can still watch the festivities.  The entire event will be is streaming online at NeilDiamond.com and WalkOfFame.com.  On hand to pay tribute to Diamond at the presentation will be another lauded singer/songwriter, Randy Newman.

The star unveiling takes place the day before Diamond kicks off his series of shows at Los Angeles' Greek Theater commemorating the 40th anniversary of his classic live album Hot August Night.  The concerts are scheduled for August 11, 16, 18, 23 and 25.
