Billy Joel Turned Away from Massachusetts Restaurant

BillyJoel.comBilly Joel may be a music legend, but that doesn't mean he can always get a table at a restaurant.  The Boston Herald reports that the Piano Man and a female companion were turned away from an eatery called Duckworth's in Gloucester, Massachusetts the other night.  The restaurant only has 36 seats and doesn't take reservations; when Joel arrived, every table was full.

While some celebrities might pull the "Don't you know who I am?" card and demand to be seated, spies tell the paper that Billy just politely asked to be called if a table suddenly opened up.  As for what he was doing in the area, apparently, Joel, who's a known gourmand, was staying in nearby Rockport, Massachusetts, and had heard good things about Duckworth's.
