Photo: Ash NewellStyx has scheduled a pair of very special concerts this fall in Las Vegas.  On November 16 and 17, the veteran rockers will perform two of their best-loved albums -- 1977's The Grand Illusion and 1978's Pieces of Eight -- in their entirety at The Pearl at Palms Casino Resort.  Among the many memorable tunes featured on those classic records are "Come Sail Away," "Blue Collar Man (Long Nights)," "Renegade" and "Fooling Yourself (The Angry Young Man)."

Pre-sale tickets for the concerts are available now for Styx fan-club members, while the general public will be able to buy tickets starting on Friday.  The band previously played The Grand Illusion and Pieces of Eight during a late 2010 tour.  One of those shows, a performance at the Orpheum Theater in Memphis, Tennessee, was taped and released earlier this year as the Styx: The Grand Illusion/Pieces of Eight Live DVD and Blu-ray.

The Vegas shows come near the end of Styx's busy summer and fall North American itinerary.  The group's next show takes place August 24 at the Western Idaho Fair in Boise, Idaho.
