MVD Entertainment GroupAn album boasting interviews that journalist Larry Kane conducted with The Beatles during their U.S. tours of 1964 and '65 was released Tuesday as a vinyl picture disc. Larry Kane's Ticket to Ride features Kane conversing with the Fab Four on a wide range of topics, including politics, their feelings about their fans and their reflections on performing in America.
Also featured on the LP are later conversations with Beatles members, including a chat with John Lennon at one of his famed "Bed-In" events in Amsterdam, and a 1968 dialogue with Lennon and Paul McCartney that reportedly is the last interview the rock legends conducted together prior to the band's breakup.
The interviews are prefaced with commentary from Kane, who was the only reporter sanctioned to travel with The Beatles during their early tours of the U.S.
