David Livingston/Getty ImagesCher has denied reports that she's going to tie the knot with her sometime boyfriend, 42-year-old biker Tim Medvetz. 

In response to a tweet from a celebrity news Twitter account that asked,"Is it TRUE?? Are you really getting MARRIED," the legendary entertainer replied, "Tim Is my Close Friend! We Love each other but not that way."  In addition, Cher's rep denied the reports of an engagement to E! Online.

The British tabloid The Sun, citing an unnamed "U.S. report," had claimed that Cher is planning to take a road trip across the U.S. with Tim on his bike this fall, and then end the trip with a visit to a Las Vegas wedding chapel, where the two would marry. 

Cher first dated Medvetz in 2008; they split, but there have been reports that they're back together.
