Courtesy of Carlos SantanaSantana has postponed three concerts that were to have taken place this weekend in Florida. The shows had been scheduled for Friday and Saturday at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, and for Sunday at Ask Gary Amphitheatre in Tampa.
According to Michael Vrionis, president of tour promoters Universal Tone Management, the performances were postponed because "circumstances beyond our control." He adds that his company "is working diligently to reschedule these performances," and expects Carlos Santana and his band to return to Florida "in the very near future."
Santana's next scheduled appearance is on August 31 at the North Sea Jazz Festival on the Caribbean island of Curacao. Then, on September 12, the veteran rockers will begin a new series of shows as part of his ongoing Las Vegas residency at the House of Blues at the Mandalay Bay Hotel.
