The organization's 25th anniversary benefit concert is scheduled to take place October 4 at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. This year's event will celebrate families, with Simon being joined by his wife, fellow singer/songwriter Edie Brickell; Taylor appearing with his spouse, Caroline, and Wonder being accompanied by his daughter Aisha.
Other celebrities scheduled to appear at the show include Tom Hanks and his wife, actress-singer Rita Wilson; country-music couple Vince Gill and Amy Grant; and Tina Fey and her husband, composer Jeff Richmond. Other special guests will be added to the lineup.
The Children's Health Fund provides medical services to homeless and impoverished youngsters around the country. Since it was founded in 1987, the organization has aided more than 350,000 disadvantaged young people.
