Hear Music/Concord Music GroupPaul Simon is releasing a new concert video featuring highlights from the folk-rock star's June 2011 performance at New York City's Webster Hall. Live in New York City, due out September 18, will be available in three formats, as a standard DVD, a Blu-ray and a DVD/two-CD set.
The discs capture Simon and his backing group playing a 20-song set that features many of the singer/songwriter's memorable solo hits, a couple of classics from the Simon & Garfunkel catalog and a selection of tunes from his latest studio album, last year's So Beautiful or So What. Among the songs included are renditions of "The Sound of Silence," "50 Ways to Leave Your Lover," "The Boy in the Bubble," "Kodachrome" and "Slip Slidin' Away."
