Courtesy of Mick JaggerJust what exactly is going on in The Rolling Stones' camp? A few days ago, the band reported via its social media pages that a big announcement was coming soon, and also introduced a new app called uView that allows fans to view hidden multimedia messages online through their iPhones and Android devices.
Now, a photo of Mick Jagger holding an electric guitar along with an accompanying note that reads, "Had fun in the Paris studio this week," has been uploaded to The Stones' Facebook and Twitter pages. Is the singer working on new Stones music? Is the band rehearsing for some 50th anniversary concerts? Right now, we can only guess.
Meanwhile, The Stones have updated the image that popped up on their official websites recently that, when viewed using the app, showed a pair of blinking eyes and the words "Keep your eyes peeled…" Now when you look at the picture through a smartphone using uView, you can hear the opening riff of "Start Me Up" along with seeing the blinking eyes and the message.
