Rankin/Rollingstones.comThe Rolling Stones will be performing four concerts in November -- two in London and two in Brooklyn, New York -- a source tells Billboard.biz.
The source says the Stones will play two dates at London’s O2 Arena and two at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The source says the band will be paid $25 million dollars for the four dates.
Mick Jagger and Keith Richards have already indicated the band wouldn’t be going on tour in 2012 to mark their 50th anniversary, but earlier this year they hinted to the BBC about doing some live shows. Richards was quoted as saying, “There’s things in the works; I think it’s definitely happening. But when? I can’t say yet."
Just one day ago, longtime Stones archivist Nico Zentgraf told the U.K. newspaper The Guardian the Stones have been ****** down new tracks in a Paris recording studio.
