Facebook.com/EltonJohnRemember when Madonna went on stage in Nice, France, and announced that she forgave Elton John?  Maybe that's because right before the concert, she and Elton buried the hatchet at a nearby restaurant.

The British tabloid The Sun reports that John and Madonna ran into each other in a restaurant in Nice called La Petite Maison the night of her concert.  Apparently, Elton eats there often, since it's close to his villa in that area, and Madonna dropped by for dinner because her show didn't start until hours later.

An insider told The Sun, "Just as he was leaving, he went over to talk to Madonna and they were laughing and smiling.  They even hugged each other.”

In July, John went on Australian TV and declared Madonna's career to be "over," her tour to be "a disaster," and the star herself as looking like "a fairground stripper."
