Shore Fire MediaGospel/soul great Mavis Staples and current tour mate Bonnie Raitt will be featured in an upcoming episode of Austin City Limits as part of the long-running PBS concert series' 38th season.  The show, which will include separate sets by the Staple Singers legend and Raitt, is scheduled to premiere on October 13. 

The 38th season of Austin City Limits debuts October 6 with a show devoted solely to modern rockers Radiohead.

Staples' stint opening for Raitt, meanwhile, winds down with a September 23 concert in Santa Barbara, California.  Visit MavisStaples.com to check out all of the singer's forthcoming shows.
