Video Interviews with Mick Jagger and Keith Richards Highlight Upcoming eBook

NBC PublishingAn enhanced digital book focusing on The Rolling Stones' Mick Jagger and Keith Richards is scheduled to be released on October 2.  Mick and Keith: Never Stop features music journalist Rona Elliot's exclusive conversations with the two legendary musicians, taped for the Today show while The Stones were on a break from their tour in support 1989's Steel Wheels album.

In addition to video footage and transcriptions of the interviews, the eBook includes Elliot's commentary about The Stones and their history, as well as a variety of images of the band taken by Henry Diltz, Bob Gruen and many other renowned photographers.  Among the subjects Jagger and Richards discuss are their enduring and often contentious songwriting partnership, how they view the relationships between the band's members, The Stones' infamous bad-boy image, and the effect **** use has on the band's effectiveness.

"I have been so fortunate in my life's work to meet, interview and form trusted relationships with music legends that we all love and respect...and Mick and Keith are right at the top of any list," says Elliot in a statement. "These interviews were remarkable then, and are perhaps even more so now, as [The Rolling Stones] celebrate 50 years together."

The Mick and Keith: Never Stop eBook will be available for a variety of devices, including Apple's iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch, and Barnes & Noble's Nook Color and Nook Tablet.
