The show, scheduled to take place October 27 at PlayhouseSquare's State Theater in Cleveland, will feature performances by Berry himself, as well as an eclectic list of musicians that includes The Isley Brothers' Ernie Isley, New York Dolls singer David Johansen, Motorhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister, Run-DMC's Darryl McDaniels, jazz veteran Bucky Pizzarelli and up-and-coming bluesman Joe Bonamassa.
Berry also will accept a special honor at the concert, which will mark the end of this year's American Music Masters series. The weeklong extravaganza, dubbed "Roll Over Beethoven: The Life and Music of Chuck Berry," will kick off on October 22. It will feature interviews, movies, panel discussions and presentations about Berry, as well as a keynote lecture that will be held at Cleveland's Case Western Reserve University.
