MJ Kim/MPL Communications Ltd.The PBS special focusing on Paul McCartney's intimate performance of songs from his album Kisses on the Bottom will begin airing on Friday at 9 p.m. ET. The show was recorded this past February 9 at Capitol Studios in Los Angeles.
Live Kisses features the rock legend singing a selection of tunes from his 2012 standards collection with accompaniment from many of the musicians who helped him record the album, including acclaimed jazz pianist Diana Krall. Eagles guitarist Joe Walsh also was on hand to contribute to several tunes during the show.

Live Kisses also features scenes of the unveiling ceremony for McCartney's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, which took place outside of Capitol Studios prior to the Beatles great's performance.
Live Kisses is the latest installment of PBS' Great Performances series. Check your local listings to find out exact air dates for the show. A DVD of the special also is expected to hit stores at a later date.
