BridgeSchool.orgThe initial lineup has been revealed for the 26th annual edition of Neil Young's Bridge School Benefit Concert, which is scheduled to take place October 20 and 21 at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California. As usual, Young will headline the event, but this year he will be accompanied by his frequent backing band Crazy Horse, with whom he's been touring for much of 2012. Among the other acts set to perform at the shows are Guns N' Roses, Sarah McLachlan, ex-White Stripes frontman Jack White, psychedelic alternative rockers The Flaming Lips and comic actor Steve Martin along with his bluegrass group The Steep Canyon Rangers.
This year will mark the fifth time that Crazy Horse has joined Young at a Bridge School Benefit Concert, although it will be the band's first appearance since 2001.
The charity event is organized by Young and his wife, Pegi, to raise funds for the Bridge School, a facility that aids children with physical impairments and severe communication difficulties. Tickets for this year's shows go on sale on September 14 via LiveNation.com.
