ZZ Top Celebrating Release of "La Futura" with NYC In-Store on Tuesday

Business WireThe long wait for a new ZZ Top album is over: the band is releasing their latest studio effort, La Futura, on Tuesday.  In celebration of the record's arrival, the Texas trio will be visiting the J&R Music store in downtown New York City at 5 p.m. ET that afternoon to sign copies of the CD and meet with fans.

If you're hoping for a chance to get an autographed copy of La Futura, you must pre-order the disc at the store or JR.com, at which time you'll be issued a wristband.  If you can't make it the event, a contest at the J&R Music NYC Facebook page is offering fans a chance to win a signed copy of the album by revealing your favorite ZZ Top song at the website.

La Futura was co-produced by ZZ Top frontman Billy Gibbons and famed producer Rick Rubin, and features 10 new tunes, including "I Gotsta Get Paid," "Chartreuse" and "I Don't Wanna Lose, Lose, You."  The collection is the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer's full-length follow-up the 2003's Mescalero.

ZZ Top currently is supporting La Futura with a U.S. tour that's scheduled through an October 27 show at Bee Cave, Texas.
