Marc Andrew Deley/Getty ImagesThree men were ******** on Thursday at Chuck Berry's ranch near Wentzville, Missouri, for allegedly ******** numerous items from the rock 'n' roll legend, including one of his prized guitars.
Craig McGuire, a police official from Missouri's St. Charles ******, tells the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that on Monday, a 1978 Gibson ES 355 guitar belonging to Berry was reported ****** from his property. McGuire also reveals that on the following day, a ranch employee reported additional items missing, including three power washers and a leaf blower.
Then, on Thursday afternoon, a neighbor of Berry's notified police that suspicious vehicles, including a U-Haul, were seen entering the estate. Officers responded and three suspects were ******** at the property.
The guitar, worth an estimated $50,000, has now been recovered, and police tell the Post-Dispatch that the instrument is expected to be returned to Berry on Friday. Some of the other ****** goods also have been retrieved.
