Columbia RecordsBob Dylan's latest album, Tempest, stormed up near the top of the Billboard 200 chart in first week of release, selling 110,000 copies to land at #3.  Even so, the folk-rock great's critically-acclaimed 35th studio effort didn't quite match the initial success of his previous full-length release, 2009's Together Through Life, which bowed at #1 after moving 125,000 copies.

Also making an appearance in the Billboard 200's top 10 is ZZ Top, whose new album, La Futura, premiered at #6 with sales of 31,000.  It's the highest-charting debut ever for the Texas trio, who last visited the upper reaches of the tally in 1992, when its Greatest Hits compilation reached the ninth slot.  La Futura's predecessor, 2003's Mescalero, peaked at #57 on the chart.
