EltonJohn.comJust a reminder that the Peace One Day concert, featuring a headlining set from Elton John, will stream live from London's Wembley Arena this Friday at YouTube.com/PeaceOneDay.  The event, which coincides with the international Peace Day initiative, is set to get under way at 2:30 p.m. ET.

The concert is held in conjunction with the Peace One Day organization's Global Truce 2012 campaign, which, like Peace Day itself, promotes the reduction of violence across the globe and calls for a cease fire in all war-torn areas.  The show also is the last of three similarly themed concerts held in the U.K. as part of part of the London 2012 Festival, which was launched to celebrate the 2012 Summer Olympics and Paralympic Games.

In addition to Elton's performance, the Peace One Day concert will feature sets by U.K. pop artist James Morrison and the classical duo 2CELLOS.  The organization's founder, Jeremy Gilley, will be on hand to co-host the show with actors and Peace One Day ambassadors Jude Law and Lili Cole.  Other special guests also are expected to appear.
